Establishing a West Coast Urbanmonks Outpost

This January has been a busy one.  Moved the Urbanmonks Thinktank our to Portland, Oregon.  Building contacts, researching locales for the street cart here.  I left the East Coast cart in New York.  I will build a new one in February and March.  Looking forward to that. 

I have been thinking a lot about what book I want to work on this year.  

I will be making a formal announcement for a collaborative street book workshop which will run from February through May.  It will be largely correspondent, but there may be a local Portland group that will meet weekly.

New Year's Update

First off. I want to wish us all an inspired and healthy New Year.

Secondly, here is what is going on around these parts:

I am currently writing a paper that recaps how the Urbanmonks Thinktank has grown and evolved in the past two years. Then it looks forward to the year to come.  I think many people will find this interesting, for it reflects on a lot on the street cart project, which has been enlightening in many ways. 

I will post that reflection and vision paper as soon as I can.
